We’re happy to announce that ESA’s SCOTSS Project, in partnership with Cloud Signals’ Consortium, has successfully completed its first test with outstanding results! This initial success marks a significant step in our mission to push the boundaries of satellite connectivity. The SCOTSS project’s first test highlights the potential of satellite technology to reach even the most remote areas, bridging the digital divide and opening new doors for education, communication, and community development. More specifically, the students of the 1st (EPAL) High School of Karlovassi have now reliable access to the digital world!
SCOTSS project utilizes the 5G enabled digital platform of Distars2, satellite telecommunications, earth observation, satellite navigation and human spaceflight technologies to enhance students’ understanding of both environmental issues and space exploration.
At Cloud Signals, we believe everyone deserves the opportunity to learn, communicate, and grow. Promoting social inclusion especially for students with special needs and those in remote areas is one of our main objectives. We’re committed to a future where connectivity is a right, not a privilege.
